Dr. Stein has years of experience ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate services from State, Federal and Educational Programs they are entitled to. There programs are as follows, but not limited to:
- IHSS In-Home Supportive Services
- Regional Center
- IEP Individual Educational Plan
- California Children's Services
- Medicare
Stein Life Child Neurology is continuously monitoring these programs and is committed to being the medical advocate for our patients to assist in utilizing all available programs for the betterment of the child’s health and well being. The “appropriate” referral with the “correct” supporting letter and medical documentation can foster quality of life for so many families.
Dr. Stein has long been committed to finding non-profit and other groups to support the patient and/or the family. The number and types of support groups are truly astronomical. Participating in events sponsored by these support groups can also be very rewarding for the child and the family. Every year I participate in the Epilepsy Foundation of LA’s Camp Family Fun and Friendship. I highly encourage families with an epileptic to consider joining us for the next event.
